Concrete
The Ministerial Decree 17/01/2018 “Technical Standards for construction” requires every ready-mixed concrete manufacturer to have an Factory Production Control system (FPC) in compliance with the requirements stated in the “Guidelines for production, transport and control of ready-mixed concrete” issued by the Central Technical Service of the “Consiglio Superiore dei Lavori Pubblici” (Supreme Council responsible for overseeing public works in Italy).
The guidelines require the adoption of a FPC manual and the implementation of specific preliminary tests and checks as well as final production tests on fresh and hardened concrete, mandatory since 30/06/2009 for the production of structural concrete.
The Italian “Technical Norms for Constructions” (NTC) explicitly refer to UNI 8520-1, UNI 8520-2, UNI EN 206 and UNI 11104 standards, which define test methods for concrete and its components.

Our services
We have a stable test lab and a mobile test lab unit – both UNI EN ISO 9001 certified – to test both fresh concrete and hardened concrete features in compliance with the main standards in this sector.
The lab is equipped with all of the necessary resources to collect samples directly in compliance with the UNI EN 12350-1 (fresh concrete) and UNI EN 12504-1 standards (core samples in structures).
Our technical staff can provide support to your company for:
- Preparing all required documents and procedures;
- Studying mixes for specific purposes;
- Performing on-site tests thanks to a fully equipped mobile lab unit.
